Bean (1997)

Mr. Bean has a rather useless position in the Royal National Gallery. When a very important painting needs to be escorted to the United States, the board of the Gallery decides to send him along only to get rid of him. Now, Mr. Bean is another country's problem...
Among the few films directed by Mel Smith stand Mr. Bean's break into the big screen. Smith pays attention to the earlier series starring the character and tries to create an atmosphere as original as the series. That's why many of the gimmicks in the film have previously appeared (differently) in the series. The result is a high-class comedy drenched in awkward British humor that you surely can't help but laugh with.
Little can be written in account of Rowan Atkinson that had snot been written before so it's better to let the film talk about him. Peter MacNicol, his supporting character shows great spirit and brings some good laughs in his moments of total nervous breakdown. Oh yeah, and there's also Pamela Reed being a total bitch about everything!
Must watch this : High !!!
