The Joker, the Penguin, the Riddler and Catwoman join forces in order to destroy the world. They have in their hands a secret invention that instantly dehydrates people and plan to hold the world ransom with it. Once again, the only ones who can stop them are Batman and Robin...
Leslie H. Martinson does the first step and brings the legend of Batman into the big screen. Previously a T.V series, this film was the first to portray an adventure of Batman and Robin in the length of a feature. Downright hilarious, utterly comical, respecting the original comic series, this flick has interesting special effects (I would say cheap but okay!) and vivid colors matching those of a comics pages! My personal favorite of all the Batman films.
Adam West is Batman (silly and goofy at times but he is Batman) and Burt Ward is his assistant, Robin.
Lee Meriwether is the saucy Catwoman (purrrrfect), Cesar Romero is the Joker, Burgess Meredith is the Penguin and Frank Gorshin is the Riddler. All actors get the mood of the film and do a great job at portaying their characters both seriously and with the proper amount of punchlines that a comic film should have!
Must watch this : with a Happy Meal from McDonald's (or something equally shitty fast-food restaurant) and your bros. Find your inner child and laugh your ass off as you witness Batman trying to get rid of a bomb.
