Tango of Perversion (1973)

Joachim often hangs out at the club Tango with his friend Stathis and the rest of the group. However, Joachim may seem shy and normal but actually he is a weird impotent guy who secretly films his friend Stathis having sex with various girls from the club. One night, Stathis kills a lesbian girl he caught with his girlfriend and is filmed again. Joachim proceeds to find his real sickness ; necrophilia! His need for lust turns everything upside down.
Even though I am Greek, I don't really dig Greek cinema. However , this is an exception! Director Kostas Karagiannis gives us this twisted and sick plot which takes part in 70s swinging Athens. This film really does not belong in the norm of Greek cinema (although it's sick enough to be a continue of Ancient Greek drama) and it makes me wonder why such acting and directing talent went to waste.
Almost all-Greek cast here and great performances. Macho man Lakis Komninos and weirdo Vagelis Voulgaridis take the lead here and the atmosphere of the film gets heavier as the film progresses. Almost all female roles get partly or wholly naked at some point, which adds to the deviance of the story. A must-see for the fans of twisted sexuality and unbalanced social relationships.
Must watch this : if you are Greek and are bored of Greek crap on TV and film. If you are not Greek, watch this with a glass of brandy or liqueur on a hot summer night.
No trailer but this works
