Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)

On his first day at his new job, Lieutenant Ethan Bishop is in for a big night. His assignment is to stand guard to a former police station and make sure that all the closing procedures are handled right. Little does he know that he will find himself in the way of a street gang anxious to take revenge on the police. And these gangsters are equipped with more than just molotof bombs...
An early John Carpenter, way before his classic slasher films and utopian Sci-Fi, directs this ultimate thriller film. Soon characterized as one of the most exciting siege movies, this film is ultra low-budget but succeeds in its purpose to the max. Fast-pacing action, lots of gun fights and comradery in the most unlikely places, you just have to watch this one!
Ethan Bishop is quite good in his part as the policeman in charge of defending this useless building and Darwin Joston is his only desperate help, an otherwise notorious criminal. An interesting blend of characters (that don't have enough space to evolve) under extreme pressure.
Must watch this : with a big-ass pizza and two bottles of supreme quality beer. After the film, use the bottles to make molotof bombs while listening to that shit and then go to your area's police station and throw them at it. Be sure to be able to run fast afterwards.

"Hey, there's a police station down the street. Let's go shoot at it!" "Right on"

So young, so innocent
Ready, Aim, Shoot
