Night Of The Living Dead (1968), by Eat-UrBrains

Barbara is out in Pennsylvania with her brother for their annual visit to their father's grave. A weird man attacks them and all of a sudden, Barbara finds herself hiding in a farmhouse with other strangers in order to protect herself from the attacking zombies. It's feeding night and they ain't stopping!
George A. Romero's full debut as a director definitely put him on the world map of high class directors. If the Italians hadn't been the ones to complete the concept, Romero would have been the father of zombies. Shot in grainy black-and-white, this film is a non-stop thrill ride with amazing characters struggling to stay alive while being attacked by hideous humanoids, all set peacefully in rural America.
Judith O' Dead gives a hole other meaning to the term 'scream queen' and Duane Jones breaks all social taboos (being black and all) and proves to be quite the hero battling his way through flesh-eating zombies and nimrod hillbillies. All in all, this film boasts amazing performances and impressive effects and even more genuinity.
Must watch this : on a spooky, foggy Friday night with your friends and Monkey Brain shots. After the film, find the girl among your friends with knee-high striped socks and fuck her brains out.
