A Fistful of Dollars (1964) a.k.a Per Un Pugno Di Dollari

A mysterious gunslinger with no name arrives in a rusty old town by the Mexican border. He soon sees that the town is torn apart by a burning hatred between the two leading families there. He decides to fuel the fire for his own profit...
The film that started it all! Sergio Leone puts his mark on the beginning film of the so-called trilogy of the Man with no name. There's guns a-blazing, wind a-blowing and sand a-covering everything on this masterpiece of film art. Heavy atmosphere (like the one you get when too much testosterone come around) that makes you take the movie seriously from the start and a fast-pacing plot that won't let you take your mind from it. I don't think there is anything more compelling than western films like this especially when the soundtrack (by Ennio Morricone) is equally breathtakingly good!
As always, Clint Eastwood is amazing and presents a flawless depiction of his character. Swift and cunning, he takes on his enemies one by one. Gian Maria Volonté, Antonio Prieto, Sieghardt Rupp and Wolfgang Lukschy meet their master in his face and regret their hate-driven lives. And since there had to be a woman role to ease the mood, Marianne Koch fits perfect right in the middle!
Must watch this : call up your real men friends (make sure they are real men) and enjoy this film while sampling cigars and bourbon on hot summer night!

Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) a.k.a C'era Una Volta Il West

A piece of very profitable land is left to a former prostitute after her new husband gets killed. An evil railroad tycoon wants to get hold of that land as he intends to use it for his own profit. When he starts war on the widow, a mysterious stranger with a harmonica joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect her...
Sergio Leone right after the end of his famous Mr.Nobody trilogy could not just sit around and bask in his new found glory. Instead he went on and directed yet another epic monument in the history of Spaghetti Western. Employing great settings and performers, equipping them with tons of heavy emotion, glorifying them with a fantastic Ennio Morricone soundtrack, Sergio Leone does his thing again!
Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda need no introduction as they are well known sons of bitches. And they keep that title with honor in this film by giving excellent performances and tuning this film up a notch. Gabriele Ferzetti is equally stunning as the evil mastermind of the film while Claudia Cardinale is the trophy wife with a fortune in the middle. Jason Robards completes the starring cast as Cheyenne.
Must watch this : anytime anyplace. Watch this whenever you get the chance with a juicy steak and a glass of bourbon on the side. This is the kind of film that puts hair on your balls!

The Good,The Bad And The Ugly (1966) a.k.a Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo

A no-good son of a bitch bounty hunter teams up with two men against another man. Each man's goal is to reach first a remote cemetery where a huge amount of gold is hidden waiting to be retrieved.
Sergio Leone only made some movies (as a director) but what he made he made it count. I could go on and on writing about this movie (as every other person who has seen it) but then its meaning would be lost. One just have to watch this and be ashamed is he still hasn't. Miles of sun and desert, cold-hearted mean driven by money and survival, tons of balls on the music by Ennio Morricone, all forged together under the great guidance by master Leone.
Clint Eastwood, a professor on "Being a fucking man-Advanced". All frigid and swift and macho, he should be a role model for every male born. Eli Wallach, a vivid portrayal of the greediness in men, a man who has lost his mission in life. Lee Van Cleef, a man born to be bad just because he is what he is and for that he goes all the way. The amazing trio that makes this film's main cast, the quintessence of  the Western movie genre, the all-time reference in every other Western movie character that followed. Take off your hat, you swine!
Must watch this : on a fucking hot Saturday morning with a tall glass of whiskey (I don't care what time it is) and huge ass cigar. Study Eastwood's facial expressions and then use them to get laid on that night. It will definitely work!
